Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds
menceritakan tentang malaikat maut yang mengikuti kematian seseorang untuk mendapinginya ke akhirat. Di alam lain orang yang telah meninggal memiliki 7 percobaan selama 49 hari dan saat ini sosok malaikat maut yang tak seharusnya terlibat dalam urusan manusia akhirnya membantu menyelesaikan urusan/ ujian manusia tersebut.
Gang Rim diperakan olehh Ha Jung-Woo adalah pemimpin malaikat kematian. Dia memiliki kasih sayang untuk manusia. Sedangkan di sisi lain ada Kim Ja-Hong (Cha Tae-Hyun) yang sedang menerima persidangannya di akhirat.
